RDA custom blanking cap to prevent leakage

So I want to share something I have searched for but have not found. I know that using my dripper until it dry hits will help control the annoying leakage when in your case or pocket. Sometimes, for me, I do not have that luxury. So to the world wide web I go in search of this blanking cap. I found vape bands but really I was wanting something I could use to make a tight fit and easily done. I wanted it to be small enough you could easily carry and make a good seal. To my surprise I found nothing. So I did what I do best and went to the hardware store to look for a few options I could make myself. I found some PVC caps which I was able to use without any modifications except spraying with paint to spruce it up a little. Actually the fit to well that it created a small amount of pressure which forced the cap to pop up and not seat well. I got my drill and the smallest bit and drilled a hole in the top center of the cap. Pressure released and it works great. I also bought some clear rubber hose that was a bit small. I was able to heat it slightly and stretched slightly and it's too fits well. Of course I still had an open end which I corrected by using a PVC threaded plug. This too works well but personally I liked the PVC cap mentioned above.

If anyone is interested in a photo of the two home made cap I can post them.

Even though these worked well I am still curious if maybe anyone had found a cape made for blanking a mod that is in line to what I made? Or maybe one of you has made a similar cap yet different from my two?

All of my RDA's leak. Mind you its not much but it's enough to create an issue for me. It's not the loss of liquid that bothers me but the sticky mess it leaves in my carry case/pocket. I admittedly wick mine different than most but it's the way I like it for my own vaping pleasure. I will get some pictures to post this afternoon.

Well temperature could be a problem but not concerning my device. I am always well within my battery/mod limits. Now the heat from mother nature is another thing.
