Lately i've been noticing that on my tugboat v2 / ipv2.1, i'll get a dry hit even though the cotton still looks like its juicy, is this normal or am i doin somthing wrong. i use Koh Gen Do japanese organic cotton , & current build is single coil, .9 , 26 awg, 7 wraps on 2.4 mm ID. maybe i should use 3 mm screwdriver next and couple more wraps so it'll hold more cotton, would bigger ID work. Also im wondering if its normal for rda's to get juicy building up all over top cap etc.

Shouldn't be dry hits if juicy wet, as in saturated. I build micro coils with an inside diameter of 5/64ths, so it isn't your
coil diameter. You can go smaller or bigger if you want. Your cotton is either too loose or too tight, or hot legs between
the coil and posts. Probably too loose or too tight though. Too loose can create hot spots on your coil where it isn't
getting enough juice, and too tight will choke off the supply of juice. Both taste bad. The cotton should be snug. It doesn't
take long to get the hang of it. Keep at it, you'll be fine. It's very normal for rda's to have juice all over inside of them after
use.
Good luck
