I have been using my Troll V2 for a few weeks now, I have changed the build once. It started coming up at Shorted on my Smok R80. I rebuild check everything not sure what could be making it shirt. Any suggestions? Thank You

Insulation? Because it will work when a dry fire once or twice and then give me the Shorted on the Mod

Completely disassemble the atomizer. Every single part. Don't just change the build, take it to bits. Clean and inspect it closely. What you find determines what you do next. Don't fuck with a short. Take it apart. All the way. Pins, posts, the works. Every rebuildable atomizer should be disassembled and cleaned before first use anyway and I bet you never did. People that do don't come on here asking why their shit is shorting. They're familiar with every part and when they have an issue, they take it apart and fix it. Once you've verified the atomizer is good, if the problem persists you know the problem is with the mod.

I never do. Tear it down all the way that is, before I use it. If you want to rule out the mod why not just try another atomizer?

My other Tanks and RTA work. But the Troll is useless until I can get it to work. So taking it apart it apart and seeing all the parts sounds good. I will tonight. Thank You

That's why your shit is still full of machine oil and corners that have burs from the china man that half ass machined and didn't finish or clean it properly. Or maybe it doesn't, but you wouldn't know either way huh? ;)

@BoomStick Thanks.. I took it apart(and now know how it goes together. It works great. Time to look for my 2nd RDA!!!
That's great. Glad you got it sorted out. Understanding how these things are designed and built (especially the ones you own) is helpful in many ways. It's even helpful when shopping for something new. And ensuring all the parts are clean, serviceable and properly assembled is always a good thing. Good stuff man.
