I've used variable wattage mods always and I've always wondered with a mechanical mod how do you know what wattage your running your coil at?

Ohms law, plenty of calculators out to check. Enter in resistance of coil and voltage of battery and it calculates it, or you can bust out the pen and pad
*edit* added picture, this is what I have on my Dimitri

When building on a mech mod the amp rating is extremely important to stay within the bounds of the battery you are using.
