im using a ipv2.1 and a tugboat v2, i have 26 & 28 gauge kanthol, and use koh gen do JC. i've been doing single coil, 8 or 9 wraps on 2.4 mm ID. im wondering if someone can let me know if theres better build i can do with single coil to get more vapor. i wanna try dual coil, but i have 6 mg nic atm so i may wait till i get 3 mg soon. when doing a dual you just want to make sure you do same wraps each coil right? and 1 coil at a time and tighten positive screw last. and i dont really know if i should be using 2 mm, 2.4 or 3 mm precision screwdriver,if i do 9 wraps on 2.4 or 3 whats the diff, other then resistance. how do you know what size

Well, you could try 26 gauge parallel? That should bumb up your vapor and flavor production.

+1 on the 26g parallel build for clouds and flavor

i have a dual 26g parallel 4/5 wrap build in my tobh.. 0.15 ohm... flavor is like a punch in the face, and the clouds fill a tiny room after one hit

And yes, all diameters perform different. I like 3mm personally, it gives me the vape i want using five wraps of 24 gauge Kanthal. Duals of course, usually ohms settle at 0.26 like clockwork.

First and foremost I'm very new to building but I did my 1st 1 yesterday. It's a dual coil macro, 24g kanthal, 6 wraps pushing .2 ohms. I was scared to fire it so I took it to my local vape shop "Vapeology" and they deemed it
Worthy. I can only take 2 second hits because of the massive amounts of vapor so maybe 1 coil like this may be what your looking for. I'll try and post a pic.

I've seen single coils pump out some thick vapor to so if you're concerned about that I would use higher resistant wire. Maybe build a 1.2 or so

I used dual micros on my Tugboat V2.... 24g on a 7/64 drill bit and it gives a good amount of vapor and flavor ...

Once I learned how to work properly that is...
