Hello guys,

I wanted your advise on a mod to upgrade from.. let me tell you my vaping mods that I used to date, started with smoant battlestar was good and nice and simple didn’t love the menu as it didn’t feel like it had so much options, Smok Mag kit came out loved the look of it, but oh god it’s a heavy mod and so faulty never going for Smok again lol.. after that got into Sqounking and decided to get the GBOX Sqounk mod used it for a bit then felt like Im holding a big rock all the time to heavy and not ergonomic.. so I moved on to Voopoo drag and I haven’t put it down to be honest.. i like the fast firing and menu system and how light weight it is.. what would be a nice upgrade from a voopoo drag mod with a good gene chip you think? I want something as good this chip or better and also a box mod. P.S I’m 100% going to buy the pulse 80w mod for sqounking, but I am also looking into other options!! Would love your feedback!! Anything you like that has a DNA250 or preferably DNA250C. Right now there are very few C models but best way to go as it is the new one. The Lost Vape Paranormal DNA250C is similar size/shape/weight to Voopoo Drag. No sharp corners though. I will warn you they are expensive and they do not have a great record for reliability. That may be me though as others have had no issues. If you like the looks it is very fancy. It comes in about 20 or so color/material combinations. Lowest price I think I have seen was about $110 from China and wait a month for it. In the US the lowest is about $135-$149 I think. You did not mention if you had a price range. So barring that, that would be a very good upgrade. The Gene chip is good for the price but it is no DNA250C. I gather if you can use he Gene you can use this. I find the Gene not even close to the DNA250C. Or you could wait 3-4 months until more options hit the market. There is the 250C Finder but it is very large and heavy. Otherwise a regular DNA250 is fine IMO and there are quite a few to choose from. If you want mainly a chip upgrade and not just a Mod upgrade you should get both with any DNA powered Mod. The DNA75C is less money, more to choose from if you do not need that much wattage. Keep in mind a 2 cell(battery) DNA250C of reasonable size is 200 Watts. I know the name can be misleading. I think the 75 is actually 100 somebody correct me if I am wrong please. A huge upgrade but three times the price of Drag if that matters. I will say I bet the Drag is more reliable.

Thank you for the lengthy reply! Well budget is open hehe!! I was thinking of the DNA chip and saw the TUGLYFE DNA250w dunno if that’s a dna250c or just 250 (what’s the main difference between 250 and 250c?) also another one is lost vape paranormal dna250
Both mods going for 135$... is there a better mod with a better chip coming out sometime soon? I might settle for something simple until a great mod that is worth all the $$$$ is out.. I was thinking of Puma stormer.. is it any good?

Also what’s not reliable in the lost vape? Please let me know what issues you had.. I hate getting a mod that is messed up after paying a lot of money..

Glad you enjoyed it. I get carried away lol. Personally I would rather the TugLyfe. Regardless if it is "c". The "c" is color and has a few new features. Not a huge deal. The big thing is replay which I can't even explain but you can read right here! The "c" is the new chip from Evolv. Whom are the top manufacturer IMO. Do not expect a new chip at least 2 years. Unless you are sold on the "c" after you read about it the standard 250 is fine, more than fine IMO. No comparison to a Drag, Gene. I have had many Lost Vape fail very quickly but not the DNA chip. Things like broken battery door poor 510 wiring etc. Many other people have no issues whatsoever. So do not let my personal bad luck stop you. Although if you mean the wood TugLyfe that is lovely and I would take that regardless of anything else. It is one I really like. Unless you seriously have no budget, Vicious Ant which is a YiHi 350J not DNA but the other top chip. They run $700 to $850 but most likely out of stock so if you get it on the secondary market it can be $1,500. I do have it because I have many but if just one I prefer the TugLyfe due to the DNA present in it. I personally care little about "c" but you might after you read up. I will tell you between a Paranormal 250C and a TugLyfe DNA250 I would take the TugLyfe all day long. I am glad you have no budget. When some people here see what I have, etc they just say I am a dick. Someone is not a dick just because they have money. I think I am very nice and have given plenty to charity even my own labor. That is for the benefit of others not you lol. You seem decent
