The yellow one, I believe, are manufacturer's recommendations, and the ones that follow were the ones recommended by the people who made the sheets. Of course taste is subjective with anyone, but these are good starting points as standalones. Quite a few flavors on there too!

7-10% is a better starting point for most IMO.

Try em' after a week and see if they're strong enough.

Second batch you can always make them a bit stronger.

Buy FA flavors and 3 percent can be quite the normal percentage of flavoring.

FA is one of the most concentrated of flavoring...if 3 percent was too harsh then thats even better for you as you would use even less making your flavorings last that much longer before you run out...Just try 2 percent and go down untill its just right for you.

Gotta be a happy medium somewhere percentage wise....I think most all flavors are in a PG solution..Some companies i think may use some alcohol but i cant comment on which ones do.

I know flavour west does.
Yeah onis iv tryed down to .5% up to 5% iv had very little success with them the hardness just dont budge for me iv even had people test them they say they are harsh to. I still using some im vaping joy now at 3% but like the others its harsh lol Im still in the search for something to smooth them out
Wllmc did mention that fa flavours are very sensitive and thought that could be why when sub ohming them

Have you considered maybe your other fluids are causing the harshness? What brand of nic are you using?

Ive found FA to be a wonderful flavoring..90 percent of all my flavoring are FA...the rest are TFA which i certainly find needing a higher percentage..usually around 7 to 10 percent for me.

Haven't heard of that one, but you aren't in the states, so I probably wouldn't have. I've just never heard of such an issue with FA, you could just be sensitive to them.

When i started diy i got it from my vape shop and did look for more but i was worried i would buy a bad one and iv heard that vampire vapes nic is clean there very popular here in the uk
There pg and vg are 99.9% to

Some flavors will be good just after a mix...some will get stronger after sitting some will fade after sitting.

When you lower the flavoring and cant taste it much consider allowing it to steep and see if it helps or not.

Some good ejuice mixes tend to need at least a week or longer to really bring out the flavor.

Also consider how much power you are vaping with...not all mixes work well with high power and can make a flavor very harsh.

If im not mistaken, HIC doesnt use a sub tank or an atty..he uses a simple kanger protank or something like that and doesnt use very much power.

I could be wrong but i look at flavoring like i would nicotine to some extent...We all know 12mg of nic in a nautilus tank is fine..but when you add more power and more clouds as with a subtank, that 12mg is too much as you are getting a higher concentration of nic.

This could very well work the same with flavoring..5 percent using 12 watt of power might taste good but with 30 watts too strong or harsh.

I would play with your power settings as well...i know if i go too high i lose flavor....if i go too low i lose flavor as well

Always play with power setting with new flavours iv literally tryed everything lol iv done 101 threads on it with everyone suggesting stuff and got nowhere lol so now i just deal with the harshness and and accept it lol my throat can handle a kick i dont mind would rather abit smoother tho but its not the end of the world lol

I just mixed an all FA espresso blend last night.

3% espresso
1% vienna cream
.5 % vanilla classic.

Im vaping it at 30 watts with a .5 ohm dual coil on an RDA.

3mg nic

Zero harshness and its better than it was last night...lol

That does sound good! Only one thing i aint ruled out is the nic.
The nic is good and clean as i dont get it with other flavours i mix with so only other thing i can think of is vampire nice react to fa flavours maybe? I should try a mix with no nic in to try

To save yourself some money..make even smaller batches at like 3ml and dont add nic at all untill you know if you like it or not...then add nic to see if it changes anything or not.

Thats a good point i used to do that but recently with capella iv been making 10ml with nic and full my tank up and vape it for a good few hours so i can think how i can change it see if i want it stronger or weaker cuz iv made small ones before tryed it 5-10 puffs like it made a bigger batch enjoyed it for like half hour then found it very weak lol.
This mite just be more or normal but i find for a little wile flavours seem strong at first then go abit weak lol

Any juice you mix is not going to be at its best right off the bat..steeping will give a final result and tell you more accurately what change or changes need to be made

I learned this in many forms of motorsports.(mostly drag racing)...make one change at a time and once you find a repeatable result..making 2 or 3 or 4 changes wont allow you to know what made a change for better or for worse.

Oh yes i allways steep my juice and yeah i found that out in motocross to once i had a splutter on my kx250 and because i changed aload of things at the same time it took me ages to find the problem lol

Alot of mixes are done for that instant gratification...i have mixes that i make because i know i like it as is and need more juice anyway before i run out..lol.....some mixes i want to make to my perfection and they sit and sit and sit and i shake and shake and shake and once a week i change the wick on my rda and one tank and try it...after 30 days is when i pretty much make my decision on a change or not.

I normal give mine 2weeks and i prefer juice what likes to steep so i can make mixes and leave them lol but its also good to have shake and vapes on tab just incase ya get low lol

I haven't detected alcohol in any of my FW flavors.
Unless they just started using it recently, or maybe only certain flavors I don't have.
However I've found alcohol in some of the VZ, NF, & LA flavors I bought.
Easy to tell when dripping from the dropper top as it runs out like water without squeezing the bottle even:D.

But I've had certain flavors that make me cough, but none with alcohol.
With the smallish percents we use it shouldn't affect the TH very much IMO.
