While Grand Theft Auto V has a thriving mod scene, Rockstar Games is not yet committing one way or another in regards to modding for Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC. However, it does say its priority will always be in preserving the "integrity of the Red Dead Online experience."
Speaking to IGN, Rockstar Games further explained that while it loves the "passion that players have for our games," it wants to ensure that "the community can enjoy
freely in the way it was intended."
"We love the passion that players have for our games and the creativity that comes with that," Rockstar said. "Our priority, as always, is on working to preserve the integrity of the Red Dead Online experience and making sure that the community can enjoy that space freely in the way it was intended."
