I've been using this for years. I have a bunch of V2's (and a half dozen V3's and a couple V1's). I almost exclusively use these Steam Crave Aromamizer Supremes because they just eff'n work and work right. My red one is my favorite because it just looks cool and it sits atop a red Odin DNA 75C.
Steam Crave hasn't offered anything in red for quite a while and I'm guessing it's because their red is a fragile finish. My red V2 was showing through the finish in quite a few spots. I got an ultrasonic cleaning machine for Christmas and fired it up recently on a few SC tanks that get frequent usage. I put my red SC in today and it took the red finish almost completely off. The only red left it on the knurling on top.
Anybody have any idea how to restore this red finish? Anybody know what finish SC originally used? I like my red and I'd like to get it back somehow.
