Hey all. I just got the Istick TC100w and im loving it so far! This is my first regulated dual 18650 so im not quite sure how the amperage draw works... Heres my situation to clarify.

the TC100w says you should use 30 or 35a batterys minimum on this device. I have a pair of efest 35a/20a (burst/continuous) batterys im using atm... now being a parallel from what I understand it would split the amp draw between batteries.(so from what I understand it would be a CDR of 70a burst/40a cont) heres my question... Ive been playing with the Steam engine battery drain calculator, but it doesnt have a choice for dual or triple reg. mods... you can choose your battery, I did. then I changed the MAH from 2500 (that of one of my batts) to 5000 (that of both) and it seems like its working right... I basically want to know that I can trust this the way I have it set up. I know not to follow it blindly but Im looking for a ballpark.

I believe the istick like most regulated mods will protect you and not draw more than the battery is capable of. I had purple efests and built low on my evoc vtc mini. Ot was saying weak battery by the time it was close to half charge. Check the paper work for your device but i am almost certain it has the same protection. Regulated mods are the safest because of the protection. I am sure someone will come by and correct me if I am mistaken. The only time i worry about amperage os when i used mechanical mods.
