Removing Previous Taste from Wick

Hi Everyone

I've been both vaping and cigarette free for three month. One thing i found out in vaping is that, unlike cigarettes where i practically smoke same brand for years, in vaping, I need to change liquid regularly. And thus, i have habit of having at least 2 differents liquids at times and alternate between them all day.

But i found out that some liquid are simply have tastes that stick to the wick and atomizer. Even if i already dried up the wick, the taste linger and sometime strong enough to overshadow next liquid i want to use.
The solutions i know is to remove the wick and put on a fresh one. But of course, this is impractical for i love to switch liquid many time a day.

I would apreciate if anyone could show method to remove or at least reduce leftover tastes for the wick. (without removing the wick itself, of course)

Rinse with hot water and let dry... or use unflavored juice between flavors.... or soak in alcohol. Or get an atty that uses silica ceramic or mesh wicks, so you can dry burn.

Agreed. Or just have multiple setups going. That's what a lot of people on here do.
I have at least 2 rigs ready to go at all times.. if only because I missplace my mod... constantly... I also usually have 1 filled tank and a dripper or 2 in reserve....

IDK what it is. Smoked 40 years.. don't remember loosing my smokes all the time. Sure the few here and those the kids stole. Or the lost pack at the beach. But daily 2 or 3 times a day? Must be getting old. These days every time I get interrupted like when you set the smoke in the ashtray while you go do a quick whatever? ??? It's during those missions my mods decide to hide... go get a drink... mods gone... that's why I have multiple rigs.

I like to think my mods are hiding and laughing at me the, when my back is turned, put themselves in the MOST OBVIOUS PLACE and wait for me to see them. That has to be it. Or why would it happen so often? Lol

I keep 6 of the same tanks in rotation all the time. 3 different colors. Silver for fruits, black for mints and white for tobaccos. Never an issue with changing flavors and the added benefit of only needing to refill every 3rd day.

This is what I used to do too when I switched flavors a lot. The problem with having a bunch of atties and swapping them out on one mod all the time is the wear and tear on the 510 connectors, specially in the mod.

Some flavors are really tenacious and need a few (or more) tankfuls through the atty to get rid of, but in my experience they are rare. With those your only choice is to clean the atty and replace the wick. One other thought is to put those juices in their own dedicated atty and put that one on when you want to vape the flavor for a while. For the juices that will clear out quickly you can use another atty and swap flavors at will. This way with a few atties you should be able to cover all the juices you use.

Multiple Tanks and similar flavor profiles is what I do along with multiple setups for different styles of vaping like Sub Ohm and Temperature Control. When I first started I had multiple coils sitting in bags but was more hassle than it was worth.
