Replacement Kayfun V4 Plastic Tank

Are these any good?
My buddy cracked his plastic tank today, and wants to get a new one.

I did some searching on Google, and these are really the only ones I found for the V4.
There are a bunch for the 3.1, Lite, Lite+, etc; not for the V4 though.
The ones I DID find for the V4 from shops in the US are WAY too expensive.

If you have any other sites to suggest or anything, please do!

Did he break it with a juice or just physically?

Poly tanks can crack with some juices, but usually they are fine. If he uses a tank-cracker juice like citrus or such, glass is the way to go.

Yes, I'm aware that FT is in China. USPS First Class mail is only like $2 though.
I wasn't aware that they had a holiday coming up though, so thanks for that!

He may not want to pay that much for a single tank though...
He can get 5 of them from FT for about the same price.
I need to pick up some spares too.

Yeah, I've never owned a KF..just used KF parts for my Orchids.

Yeah, I don't know if the tanks for the 3.1, Lite, etc. will work on a V4 or not.
It makes sense that wholesale from China is cheaper. That may be what he wants to go with though.

Isn't that the glass tank? If so, it came with one.
The V4 comes with glass, steel and plastic tank sections.

I use the KF Quartz tank in brass on my Orchid v4...

Hmmm, why doesn't he just use the glass tank if he has one?

I guess the full poly tank does have more capacity... he should try using latex gloves to help with stubborn tanks...much easier to grip 'em that way.

If ya cross the PMMA tank threads with the SS threads..GL...I've had to put mine in the freezer so the metal can shrink a bit to get it off.

Plastic tanks are junk. Go for either glass or metal. My suggestion is FastTech.
