hello fellow vapers, this is my first post. i have been vaping for a little longer than 2 years and have been rebuilding for about 15months. currently im running a sigeli 100w+ with an infinite CLT V2+. ive had the sigeli for about 6-8 months and the CLT for almost a year. they have been working great until about a month ago when the resistance just started jumping out of nowhere. at first the coil was touching the outside barrel of the atomizer....easy fix. now 3 builds later its still jumping. ive cleaned all the connection, tightened the screws. i put the clt on a friend's sigeli 100w and no jumping. i put a plume veil on my 100w+ and no jumping. if i turn the device off, unscrew the CLT, screw it back on and turn on the 100w+ and it stops jumping for awhile but thats not something i want to do a couple times an hour. im ready to throw these things at the wall lol. just now i rewicked the CLT and it seems to doing fine for the last 20mins or so but does anyone have an idea whats going on? i didnt think wick could cause shorting of the circuit?

i had the first sigeli 100w and there was something wrong with the chip i guess because i had that problem no matter what i did. maybe the chip went bad a bit have you dropped it at all? thats the only thing i can think of other than a loose screw or contact of the coil to the body of the atomizer.

ya thats another thing i checked and its not touching the center either and the screws are definitely as tight as they go. the device has tipped over on the table a bunch of times over the time ive owned it but it hasnt been like dropped on the floor that i can remember.....but im crossing my fingers because ever since i rewicked it this morning its been doing alright. something like this makes me wonder though. the 100w+ is the device i have had the longest and i was wondering, barring any abuse, how long are these newer devices supposed to last? are they supposed to last a year or 2 or 5 or 6months? technology is advancing so rapidly no one even owns a device long enough for it to fail naturally before the next latest and greatest comes out lol. i just want to know

I would really like to know as well. im not sure how long the 150w tc has been out for but the 100 wat+ has been out long enough for the variety of users to post about issues and troubleshhoting the devices but there hasnt seemed to be much of that. thats a good sign and it might show that they are ment to last for a while depending on how careful you are with it like how much you drop it but if you dont they seem like they are built pretty solid and there seems to be a lot of good things said about the chips which is where the real issue would be with a long life i think. hopefully a veteran will chime in on how long theres has lasted.
