(RESOLVED) Durable and Budget

I'm looking for a eVic VTC Mini sized box mod running 18650's, for about $50 max, that is reliable, durable, can hit hard and does both TC and wattage.
My previous devices have mostly been Joyetech but while I like their simplicity, with the box mods the chips crapped out and with the tube mods it was the USB connectors and the threading. Which is neither here nor there, other than I don't want any more Joyetech. And I want stuff that won't crap out in those ways.

I buy from fasttech whenever possible. So anything I can get there, that's a plus.

Any ideas?

RESOLVED: @SteveS45 suggested Smok Alien. Affordable with significant wattage. It does however have a notoriously poor paint job which chips easily. A sleeve or decal might be a good idea.

Honestly you need to search and check for bargains then ask our opinion on what you have decided on. There are so many choices and so many opinions it will make your head turn. Want a good 2 cell MOD with TC? I will say go with an Alien since I own 3 but so many with no real experience will say stay away. Just my freaking jaded opinion you must remember.

I was planning on ordering the basic Smok Alien, but the dhgate site pulled a switcheroo and hiked the price from $25 (a piece for a set of 5) to $40 (apiece). So I'm looking on. And thinking about the fact I still have to decide on a tank which I'd like to go along with it. (See the tanks subforum, post has same title "Durable and Budget".

yeah, I'm navigating the filters on DHgate. there's one for about $40. which I really should choose. as it's more than 15 euro cheaper than the one that I could get delivered tomorrow. but I also know, I'm rushing. as you noted as well... so I'm sticking a pin in it, and waiting until I have a better idea what kind of tank I'd like. giving me some chance to cool the f down. and think.

I have an alien 85. 3 years old works as well as the day I bought it. Only issue is some of the battery wraps seem to be thicker than others so sometimes it's a tight fit. Other than that works great. No issues.
