There are some differences between Geekvape Obelisk 65 FC Kit and Geekvape Obelisk 65 Kit, the main one being that the 65 FC has a super fast charge facility and a different battery set up. The “FC” in the name stands for “Fast Charge”.
Geekvape Obelisk 65 FC Kit uses the PD charging protocol. To get the full benefit you will need a 3A wall plug adaptor and cable (not included). Using a lower wattage adaptor (1A, 2A or PC USB) will give a slower charging rate. This PD protocol will output higher charge rates (up to 45W/15V Max) and can adjust the rate according to the battery being charged. Apparently it can take only 18 minutes to fully charge this using the fast charge system.
The fast charging systems allow for fast charging plus the two way flow of power. This means that the USB C port on the mod can also be used as a “Power bank” to charge other devices such as another vape or phone using the included USB C to USB C cable. This is available using the “OTG” (On The Go) user mode.
If you have the standard (non FC) Obelisk 65 this has a 2A USB Type C charging system.

As expected the battery types and configuration will differ between the two kits, the Obelisk 60 has a 2500mAh internal battery and the Obelisk 65FC has 2 x 1100mAh batteries.

The output for both kits is 5-65W with Variable Wattage, SMART, Temperature Control, VPC (custom curves), Bypass and OTG (FC Version only) user modes.

A 0.96in colour TFT screen is provided to view all of your vaping data.

The pod uses the existing Geekvape B Series coils (also used in Aegis Boost, Boost Plus, Z Nano Tank and Z50 Kit). You get the 0.2 and 0.4ohm included in the kit.
