Characters from Rick and Morty, The Justice League, Scooby-Doo, and more could soon be facing off in a Smash Bros.-like brawler, if a series of leaks are to be believed.

Right now on Twitter, an image is circulating showing the alleged roster for a Warner Bros. crossover game people are calling Warner Bros. Multiverse. The picture shows 13 character icons, including characters from many recognizable movies and shows.

Here's the list of every character shown:

  • Steven Universe
  • Batman
  • Harley Quinn
  • Finn (Adventure Time)
  • Jake (Adventure Time)
  • Shaggy (Scooby-Doo)
  • Superman
  • Wonder Woman
  • Gandalf
  • Rick
  • Bugs Bunny
  • Tom & Jerry
y’all thought I was lying, huh?

There's also an unknown character in the top left of the roster. Each character has a symbol attached to them. The symbols include a fist, a projectile, a sword, a shield, and a symbol that looks like wings. These could represent different class types, similar to the Mii Brawler, Swordfighter, and Gunner types seen in Super Smash Bros.

The game was originally leaked late last week on r/GamingLeaksAndRumors, accompanied by a recent trademark for the name 'Multiversus'. GamesBeat's Jeff Grubb said the WB platform fighter is real, but that it is not being developed by Mortal Kombat and Injustice studio Netherrealm, as some had been led to believe.

In a video on Giant Bomb, Grubb also shared some details about Warner Bros. Multiversus. The video has since been taken down, but industry insider Nibel summed up Grubb's thoughts, who said a source told him the game "looks cheap", it could be free-to-play with future characters sold as DLC, and the first DLC fighter could be LeBron James, thanks to his role in Space Jam: A New Legacy.

Other properties owned by Warner Bros. include Mad Max, Rocky, Harry Potter, Godzilla, and more. If the game turns out to be official, these properties would potentially be able to join the game.

It's an interesting time for the platform fighting game genre. Content updates for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate just came to an end with the addition of Sora from Kingdom Hearts. Meanwhile, other platform fighters inspired by Smash Bros. are starting to fill the void, including the recently-released Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. If this leak turns out to be true, this will be yet another crossover fighter for Smash-like fans to look forward to.
