Ridley Scott, director of films such as Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator, The Martian and more, is bringing a new sci-fi series to TNT called Raised by Wolves, which will mark his TV directorial debut.
The show focuses on two androids that are tasked with raising human children on a “mysterious virgin planet.” As the ensuing human colony begins being torn apart by religious differences, the androids find how difficult it is to control human beliefs.
Aaron Guzikowski, known for his work on the film Prisoners, will serve as showrunner and will act as one of the writers of the show. Scott, Guzikowski, David Zucker, Jordan Sheehan, Adam Kolbrenner and Robyn Meisinger are all set to executive produce. International rights to Raised by Wolves will be handled by Turner International.
