RTA-2 juice flow control

The JFC on my RTA-2 is some damn tight it's almost impossible to turn. I have to use both hands or hold the base with pliers. When I use two hands I'm worried that I'm gonna mess up the threads between the tank and base or break the glass.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Could you post a link to that RTA?
Sounds like something is a little too tight.
If there's a piece between the deck and the glass.
Or the glass itself.
