RTA/RDA that is quiet

ive searched but haven't found a thread on this topic. I'm looking for the quietest RTA I can find. I'm tired of sounding like Darth Vader. My husband vapes on a subtank and his hits are SO annoying( it may be him that is annoying lol ) it got me thinking of my own sounds. Anyways I'm tired of hearing my husband sound like a Golden Oreo. I don't wanna be like this either.
Is there such a thing? The quietest I have is the petri RDA. The RTA is noisier. Would like a tank attached for work. would like a sub om tank for husband but that would be a different category. Any thoughts or suggestions ? Thanks.

The more air intake on it the louder it becomes, MTL RTA tanks are much more quiet, but you give up the airflow.

Are you sure you want a quiet tank because your husband is annoying?

Or is it so you can stealth vape at work? :p

cant turn the air down. Heck no! I don't like huge airy hits either but like to vape around 80-90 watts and warm vape. Some tanks/RDA/RTA's are louder than others, some even whistle. Y'all know what I mean right?
Yeah.........my husband can be annoying, but after X amount of years, it's ok. He takes huge ass hits. Can hear it from other rooms in house. AND it SNOWING and 7 outside. I can't go anywhere. Darth Vader

I don't know of any quiet ones. Part of it is the airflow inlet design, the other is how hard you're sucking on it. The faster the air is rushing in past the inlets the louder it's likely to be. I would imagine sharp edges would have something to do with it, how the air inlet holes/slots are machined and whether they have a bevel or not. I get a bit of the darthy sound but I tend to inhale lighter and longer, more relaxed deeper inhales. Depending how I adjust the airflow slots on my bachelor it whistles like a tea kettle at times but normally I run it full open.

I won't even ask about the golden oreo reference, not knowing what it was I googled it. Urban Dictionary has several suggestions, none good. That's all I gotta say lol.

The Griffin 25+ is the least noisy atty I have used. I know exactly what you mean. I have a baby beast I won't touch because it's so loud. Drives me nuts... Love my Griffin.

Totally agree. When I got the Smok Alien kit I decided to try the Baby Beast it came with. Thing is loud and my wife hated it. Got a Griffen 25 Plus this past Friday and it very quiet compared to anything I've ever used. Very impressed with the Griffen for sure.
