Rta vs rda

I know this has been covered a lot I'm sure. But I'm considering all options other than a sub ohm tank. I know the basic differences but I'm wondering what are the pros and cons of each? The thing I like most about rta's is juice capacity. You don't have to constantly drip.

well until recently rtas could not hold big or complex builds well
BUt with rtas like the griffin, boreas, supreme etc that is no longer the case

Now I have always read RDAs always taste better. I just got my first rda a petri v2. I have to say, yeah it is more flavorful then my girffins. NOT a lot but some.

SO depending on what your using flavor can be better on one versus the other
if your geting some of the newest RTAs with big decks and great reviews on flavor your getting great flavor with juice capacity

Honestly look on ebay for a petri v2 clone
there sa guy in TX shipping then for about $14 new thats what I got to try out RDAs and it was well worth it. You can get the same thing cheaper from china but wait weeks for it and only save maybe 3 or 4 bucks

I've had several Rdas about 30plus..... And the taste of the Boreas is up there with the plumeveil, the twisted messes, The Diablo, The goblin, The 454 big block (pain in the ass rda) the Doge v1234, The CLT V4 by infinite is on the top of my list in flavor and clouds, *The TFv4 using Quad claptons is #2 in Rtas

I have rebuilt the Tfv4 with the rebuildable deck, but limited clouds..... Good flavor...... I thing the G2 or G4 rta would be something to try !!!! I have been thinking about it......

I knew the tfv4 was a cloudy tank but figure it wouldn't be on part with rta or rda

I owned the tfv4 mini and used the quad coil.... Nothing impressive.... The I tried the (6) sixtuple coil clouds and taste I was impressed...... Then I bought a pack of (4) quad claptons.... That's when the taste came out and thick clouds...... Now recently I stepped up and got the (8) octuple coils now that's a juice gussler, on a tfv4 at 100 watts 20 to 25 puffs and refilling needed..... At 120 watts the (8) coils come alive...... But now I needed 6 to 9 batteries for my Reuleux for a days Vaping and lots of juice and opening and closing the fucking thing..... Then a friend got me to try a Boreas..... We bought (2) and last night he emailed me and said Manny where has this fucking tank been for years !!!!! We are both impressed !!!!!!

Manny I don't see a quad Clapton coil for the tfv4? I see the .15 quad coil but doesn't say clapton.

These are the bad boys, but under 120watts they don't act right... I heard they have built in security and divide the power between all coils..... For example on 100watts only 4 coils work... At 120 watts (6) coils heat up..... At 150 watts all (8) crank up...... I can see that at low watts bubbles come out of 1 or 2 holes..... At high watts bubbles come out all holes like an aquarium.......uploadfromtaptalk1464755814251.jpg

Wow lol. For some reason those tf t4 coils seem hard to find. Can only find them certain sites.

I've pulled them apart, they work just like every other coil. All 8 coils share the load. No magic in them.

I prefer RDA's more. Less parts to maintain/clean, better flavor, lower profile.

I like tanks when I'm out and about but if I could only choose to keep my tanks or drippers, I would keep my drippers.

I haven't touched any of my RDA's since picking up the Boreas. Literally made them obsolete to me.
