Hello My Fellow Vapsters!

I'm looking to purchase one or two RTA's and/or RTDA's. Of course, I'd like to purchase the one that are the best, hence this post. I am a novice but delving into coil building and need tanks to build on. I'd appreciate versatility, something I can grow into(1 post, 2 posts, etc.,)

Please, share your picks along with some insight into why they are the best. I've heard about the Limitless RDTA; is it really that good? (I've heard of issues with the cap being too close to the coils and also not being compatible with 510 drip tips). I've also heard good things about the Merlin...not sure of it's cons,if any.

With the market flooded with tanks, I'm looking to focus on what has proven to be best in quality and performance.

Hope to hear from you all soon!

I haven't stopped using my aromamizer supreme since I got it however long ago that was, I had it on pre order so I've had it a while now. I seriously haven't touched another rda, rta, sub ohm tank ect at all since I've had it.

My favorite Rta's

1.) Boreas nice big tank, dual coils, great clouds, really nice flavor easy to build and wick.
2.) Merlin great flavor, ok clouds, single coil, one of the best machined tanks I have ever seen. Easy to build and wick.
3.) Limitless awesome flavor, easy to build and wick, does dual or single coil, dripper experience without the hassle.
4.) Alleria machining is not the best, jfc takes some getting used too, nice flavor and clouds, great for a new builder because you can see your builds.

I think the first question that needs to be answered is what kind of vaper are you? MTL or DL ( mouth to lung or direct lung) This will let us know what type of tank would better fit your needs. There is nothing worse than ordering a tank, getting it home and realizing it is not something you'd like. For example, all the tanks I see listed thus far are DL tanks. Some may argue that one, possibly two of them could be used MTL but the old song Wide Open Spaces comes to mind when I see this list. MTL is a (very) tight draw , akin the old ciggy draw. Usually MTL tanks are single coil affairs typically used at low wattage and above 1.0 ohm resistance. There is no hard and fast rule that you can not use these tanks sub-ohm especially in TC. In general, asking 5 people which tank is best, will get you at least 10 answers, not necessarily the same tank, it is an individual choice. Let us know, narrow the field for us.

Thanks Brewbear and everyone else who has shared! I enjoy both, DL & MTL. I appreciate versatility and I do not wish to be limited to DL or MTL. I am most interested in what your favorites(DL and/or MTL) are and why... "the best of both world's, so to say"? :drunk:

I am just fine with a variety of responses and expected variety, which is why I asked for insight into the choices. Insight from those w/more experience/expertise, will be most helpful to me, in making most informed decisions! I welcome the Vaping Underground community's input and I embrace diversity!:bliss:

I appreciate the insight you provided on the whole WIDE OPEN SPACES/DL aspect. Would that have to do with wide open air flows and wide open drip tips? I must add that I am much more into FLAVOR and not so much into clouds. I read the Merlin is more of a MTL, as well as Kayfun V3 Mini. But, again I appreciate diversity and having options... in case one day I'm in a DL kind of mood and the other MTL. :shades:

Hope to hear more from you, soon and thanks, again!:inlove:

I really enjoy the Griffin 25 and Serpent Mini. My man loves his Limitless. All are easy to build on and once you get the hang of wicking no leaking which is a huge plus!

The Aromamizer RDTA V1 got me off RDAs almost completely.
Got several RDAs/RTAs/RDTAs but the Aromamizer Supreme is my favorite.
