I have just recieved an RX Gen 3 and am both disappointed and impressed with the RX Gen 3. Wismec RX300 and Smok GX350 quad battery mods some of the two most powerful Regulated Mods on the planet. Triple battery mods rated as 300/320W are not nearly as good or capable as the Gen 3, but let's start with what's great. The 2A internal charging (Gen 3. RX300 1.5A) drew me in, and I know it's never the absolute safest idea, my RX300 is safe in my opinion to just ocassionally top of batteries. This Gen 3 has 2A charging as one of its main advertised features. This is where the problem starts. I vape at the level the mod is supposedly made to handle. The tanks that push out the wattage for this style power mod are huge and are sometimes top heavy enough that it's easy to knock over when reaching to grab it. Plus they look rediculous on the tiny tiny mod. But they work. The mod overheats. I use LG HB6s because I have a few sets charged to swap out and they are one of the cooleat running batteries in general. Now I've said this before, but I feel safer vaping with LG HB4s or HB6s, and sometimes SonY VTC5As, but nothing less powerful in the amps department. I'll hear the block of power RX300 is unique and doesn't need such amperage but I think the amperage I draw onscreen is best, handled with big boy batteries. When they get low, I swap to a set of new ones charged up not too long before hand. It's not good for vaping any tank that would look silly atop the little guy. Unless you wanna try a few quick high wattage vapes and reduce wattage for 99bpercent of the time. It's actually toi small to feel secure in my hand. I'll stick to my power brick but if you're not looking to follow the advertised capabilities that are exaggerated, and just vape below 160W, it's an awesome device. Don't charge HG2s in there. I never saw any charts on them but those brown boy get hot.
