Hi Ladies and Gents
i dont wish to be a downer to anyone, a few of you know why i hate this holiday and it may help you understand why i penned this. if like me you hit a downer, please take 5 mins and do this just for me, log onto R.E.M with lyrics for everybody hurts.
think of homeless, think of the kids looking at what their friends got as presents, and think of the stray dogs in the pound.
above all think of yourself, whether you believe in this holiday or not does not matter a damn.
we sometimes think we have nothing, think that we have everything, but sometimes i wonder just what we have, please try it, listen without the stupid tv in the background, eyes shut but mind open. yes i know we all have a song we all have a way to do things, i would like you, for me to try this.
i will be around our place but a bit less that usual. despite my beliefs, i wish all of you and your families to be safe, happy, warm and fed and honest. enjoy yourself in the way you do i wont say happy .... but i will send my best thoughts and wishes to you all.
