Safe additives to strengthen flavor?

So I have been making my own liquid for a very long time, and have always had the issues of not being able to have extremely strong flavors. For example you taste Cuttwood, and they are strong but not very, but when you taste other brands like Kilo or Pinup, they are very strong.

I was speaking with someone about this and he said he adds citric acid to his mixes and that brings out the flavors. Does anyone have experience with citric acid? Also, what other additives are there that I can add to realllllllly bring out that very strong flavor?

P.S. I have ALOT of concentrates and though some maybe strong from anywhere from 5% to 15%, I want them to be even stronger.

Thank you,
Kris

I don't have any experience with Citric Acid but I sure would like to find out too so I am subscribing. I thought I remember someone saying that TFA Sour does the same effect as citric acid, I hope someone can confirm or deny. Were do you even buy citric acid that is safe for vaping?

If its a fruit mix you are making put a couple of drops of lemon juice per 10ml to your mix.
For tobacco mixes vinegar at a couple of drops.
Also salt amplifies taste, use a saline solution to be safe, I use one out of a medicine box i have.

Saline solutions can wreak havoc on coils, so just be cautious if you go that route and keep an eye on them. I only used it for a while and really saw NO benefit. I've tried using vinegar for tobaccos and lemon for fruits, even the tiny amount of sweeteners to pop flavors. I never saw much benefit, if any, so I just don't use additives. Anyone that's tried them will have different experiences, too. Sometimes if your flavor is lacking, though, maybe try a different brand. Some truly are better than others.
