Are the Samsung 25R 18650s safe for vaping around 75W at .2ohms? I'm ordering them, LG HB2s, and LG HB6s. I know the LGs mentioned are 30a continuous and not worried about authenticity the way I am with VTC4s, but they're 1500mAh per cell unfortunately. I moved on to the DNA 200 mods, but still own newer Dual 18650 200W box mods so I need them. I wonder if the Samsungs are ok.

In a 200W regulated mod the Samsungs will work at 75W with no problems.

Samsung 25R is one of the Batteries I trust the most, Ive hard shorted them, abused them more then any other battery and they are still fine and well...75w is an easy task for them, you shouldnt have any concerns...if your using a regulated chip then it really doesnt matter what battery you use as the chip will regulate the input/output of the cell and change variables from there to acquire the necessary wattage wanted.

It's a great cell. One of the best, if not the best all-arounder for how I prefer to vape.

In a two battery mod, a pair of them will do 120 watts easy. In a one battery mod, for 75 watts, I'd want VTC4s or HD2Cs.

HD2Cs are cool but I haven't had enough timewith them. VTC4s are in my IPV5. Theyre tested at liionwholesale.com before purchases. Im buying up all the high amp batteties for safe keep8bg and gifting.

25r's will run at 20 amps all day long...

.2 ohms is ~ 80 watts/4 volts=20 amps

That's not a proper voltage to use with a regulated mod.
And for our purposes... resistance is not a factor.

Opposite of a mech... the draw increases as the cell depletes.
So... use 3.2v, or for extra safety 3.0v, for your calculations.

For a regulated you may be correct..sorry I was referring to a mech.

Fair enough. Not sure at this point what Nino has in mind.
For a reg mod though... that can take one well over 25A.

Still, gotta love my 25Rs... absolute workhorses.

:D (I'll even use the green smilie, for my Grinch R5s)
