sapor rda grub screw question.

I have a sapor RDA and haven't had much issues, but recently the positive block screws see having issues. The screws see not really stripped but they will only screw down so far and then just sit and spin, this is a issue since its not coming down on my leads even with 20g wire. Anyone else have this issue or know a fix, would like Phillip head screw replacements if possible.

fatdaddyvapes.com sells replacement, stainless steel, hex head grub screws. Grub screws work better than phillips screws if the material and machining is right. There's several devices that come with lousy screws.

Thanks ill have to check them out,it was just odd since it really didn't strip it just wont go down any further so I don't know if its the grub or the post itself. And I just said Phillips because I like my straight head screws on my doge so much

The Sapor should have come with extras (usually tucked under the foam packing in the box). If you try another one and they don't work it's likely the post. Also (a longshot) but I have seen situations with tiny hex screws like that where the hex-head strips out and it seems like the screw is turning, but actually the bit is turning inside the head. Doesn't sound like the case with yours, but worth closer examination if you haven't double checked already.

And I've seen some pretty crappy Allen wrenches supplied with devices. A stash of quality spare screws and a quality set of wrenches can turn a piece of shit atty into a stellar piece. Shouldn't have to deal with this kinda stuff, but...
