Hey. New here. Have a Smok m80 and the USB port stopped working. Has anyone taken this apart? I can't seem to get the bettery out to solder on a new subscription port.

To understand better, you want to solder in a new usb port? Correct?

Seemingly so. The port appears to be broken. The middle of it is pushed back. So far that it will not charge.

The usb board might be loose or the connector bent back a bit. Did you used a long USB adapter to see if it can make contact?

I did. I also took off the Housing upper and lower, but neither the battery or the board will slide out.

Bought an Innokin Disrupter to replace the Smok m80 plus w broke USB port. No day / time or mech mode, but all in all it does what I need.
