Super Bowl LVI takes place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California this year on February 13, 2022. If the game is even half as good as the playoff games that have happened so far, it's going to be really exciting. Unfortunately, chances are you won't be there in person to enjoy the spectacle. Nowadays the cost of a ticket could exceed the cost of your next TV. That's OK, because watching it on the big screen is in many ways a superior experience. In addition to the on-field vantage point from the bevy of cameras and drones in the game, you'll also be able to catch up on all the million-dollar commercials and a front row seat to the elaborate half-time show. If you've already picked up a new TV over Black Friday, then you're set. If you're still looking however, it's not too late to pick up a great deal on an excellent TV. We've listed the best deals we've found here, and we'll add more as they go live.

75" Sony X90J 4K Google TV

Note: If you pay with your Amazon Prime Card (no annual fee if you're a Prime member), you'll get an extra 10% cash back on this purchase.

The X90J is one of the top end LED LCD TVs from Sony (with only the X95J being higher) and it was easily one of the best looking TVs overall of 2021. The X90J boasts a full-array LED backlit panel with local area dimming and XR Contrast Booster, XR Triluminous Pro color, native 120Hz refresh rate, and HDMI 2.1 ports for outputting 4K at 120Hz refresh rates. It's a perfect match for watching sports on the big screen or playing games on the PlayStation.

65" Sony A80J 4K OLED Google TV

Note: If you pay with your Amazon Prime Card (no annual fee if you're a Prime member), you'll get an extra 10% cash back on this purchase.

This is Sony's newest 2021 OLED TV and... finally... it comes equipped with HDMI 2.1 ports to output 4K at 120Hz refresh rate. That means it's a highly recommended TV for the next generation consoles like the PS5 (or connecting to your PC with RTX 30 series video card). If you want the absolute best image quality in a TV without any compromise, you shouldn't be looking at anything other than an OLED TV. The contrast ratios, black levels, response time, and color rendition are virtually unmatched compared to a traditional LED LCD TV and the A80J offers Sony-centric features like XR Triluminous Pro color and XR OLED Contrast.

65" LG C1 4K OLED Smart Gaming TV

The LG C1 is the other 2021 OLED TV that we highly recommend. Right now it's back down to the same price we saw on Black Friday. Amongst OLED TVs, the LG C1 is oft considered the flag bearer; it's the one TV that all other OLED TVs are compared against. It boasts several generations of optimizations under its belt, the image quality is almost unparalleled, and it's future proofed with technology like HDMI 2.1 (4K @ 120Hz), variable refresh rate, G-SYNC, the newest LG A9 Gen4 processor, a newly revamped webOS smart TV interface, and more.

48" LG C1 4K OLED Smart Gaming TV

The best gaming monitor on the market

The 48" LG C1 4K OLED TV is not only an excellent gaming TV, it's also one of the best gaming monitors available right now. Because the C1 has HDMI 2.1 ports, it supports 4K resolutions at 120Hz refresh rate. When paired with an RTX 30 series video card (which also has an HDMI 2.1 port), it's practically a match made in heaven. The C1 also supports variable refresh rates, G-SYNC, and chroma 4:4:4 sampling for sharp text. The OLED panel blows away any IPS, VA, or TN monitor in terms of black levels and color rendition, sub-1ms response times, and plenty of brightness for true HDR. In terms of pure image quality no dedicated gaming monitor in this price range can match it.

55" Samsung QN90A 4K Neo QLED Tizen TV

Brightest TV on the market

Here's another top-end contender, this time from Samsung. This is the lowest price we've seen for the QN90A. The image quality on this set is phenomenal, and it actually blows away all 2021 OLED TVs in one key stat: peak brightness. This is one of the brightest TVs on the market and it is roughly 3x-5x brighter than the LG C1 OLED TV. If you're looking for a TV that you primarily watch in a room with lots of light, this TV would come strongly recommended. It includes other key features too, like a full-array mini LED backlight with local area dimming, improved neo QLED panel, 120Hz native refresh rate, and HDMI 2.1 for 4K at 120Hz.

75" Hisense U6G 4K Quantum Series ULED TV

Save an extra $150 off the this 75" Hisense 4K TV from Amazon. This matches what we saw on Black Friday. The U6G model is the latest 2021 model from Hisense. It's image quality stands right in between the H8G and the H9G.

65" Sony X85J 4K Google TV

These are stellar prices for the 2021 model Sony X85J 4K TV. In terms of image quality the X85J boasts high brightness levels, excellent black uniformity, and great contrast ratio. It also boasts a 120Hz native refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 inputs so it's a solid choice for gaming. The reflection handling on the screen is top notch as well. The Google smart TV interface is an upgrade from the old Android smart TV interface.

50" TCL 4-Series 4K Roku TV

If you're looking for an inexpensive TV for your bedroom, office, exercise room, or any place where you don't need a massive, fully featured gaming TV, this 50" TCL 4K TV with Roku offers solid picture quality and features without a hefty price tag.
