Disney+ Day is in full swing, and today we got our first image from Secret Invasion — a rugged-looking Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, sans eyepatch.
The announcement was part of a massive rollout of Disney+ announcements and first looks. While little was shown of Secret Invasion, we did get to see a scarred, bearded Fury. Seems like fighting Hydra, Thanos, and every other threat facing Earth has been tough on ol' Nick Fury.
Secret Invasion was first announced back in 2020. It will consist of six episodes and is expected to premiere in 2022. Ben Mendelsohn will reprise his role as Talos, with Kingsley Ben-Adir reportedly playing the villain. The series began filming in September.
