I live in Sweden and I have tried a synthetic cotton that is the same type as pima or other combed long fiber cotton and it was really great, unfortunately I do taste a sugar flavor that ruins it all fr me so when I found out that there are the same format of cotton but organic cotton I simply must have it.
But looking at ebay the only examples of such cotton I can find is sold from USA which means that the cost of shipping a 15USD pack of cotton costs 13USD which is just weird, why is is so darn expensive to get things shipped from the USA while the shipping cost is hardly worth mentioning from other far away countries...
I often find electronic measurement instruments for really good price that I want to but but can't because they are in the USA and the cost to ship these instruments far exceeds the actual cost of the instrument.
so i thought I should at least ask here for alternatives, I'm sort of surprised I haven't found any of this kind of cotton in the UK, hopefully I just haven't stumbled upon it jet.
But does anyone here know of other sources of combed long fiber cotton?
If there aren't then I will have to buy that expensive ebay cotton which would feel rather sour since the cotton is not that expensive.
