On a trip to Sri Lanka a few years back I had an astoundingly delicious Coconut Mint Sambol alongside my goat and chicken curries. The original dish utilised coconut, mint, lime, garlic and chilli. Of course there are many variations, some chefs may add cloves, sultanas or pepper amongst other things, but I thought I'd conjure up a basic desert version. Couldn't be simpler. Sweet coconut and mint (without being overpowering) alongside subtle twists of lime.

All concentrates are Flavourart.

3% Coconut
0.5% Spearmint
0.5% Lime Cold Pressed

Hope you enjoy it as much as I am.

I like all things coconut. I don't have the spearmint as of yet but this sounds freaking delicious!
Thanks for sharing!!

Pleasure mate if you give it a whirl let me know what you think.
I'm really liking spearmint concentrates as I love real mint, but I'm not big on menthol and peppermint vapes. I'm digging spearmint because it doesn't have the cooling effect, at least not at lower percentages. Not really all day vapes, but great at times throughout the day

I often wondered about the "cooling" effect and your reply answered my silent question.
I tend to be the same way and I too am not a menthol fan.
I am definitely going to have to give Spearmint a try. Thanks again!

Yea the FA spearmint is very good. I've found it can give a very slight cooling effect if used too high, but at 1% or less it's perfect for me. I used to use Capella spearmint which didn't give me any cooling effect even at high percentages, but I got a slight chemically/chalky undertone with the Caps version. Preferring the FA at low percentages

I just mixed this up and it has a very pleasant unique sent. As I was smelling it I opened my bottle of FA Anise and wow they smell good together. I'm gonna let it steep before I try it then possibly try it with some Anise.

Ah interesting Squonk.
I never would of thought of mixing Anise into it. Having said that, I never really think of mixing Anise into anything as I'm not a huge liquorice fan, but I did try a friends Anise and fruit mix the other day which I quite liked. Might have to grab some Anise. Let me know how you go.

Creamy peppermint sounds pretty good. Would definitely be worth trying this recipe with Peppermint instead of Spearmint too, or a combination of both

I haven't tried my Anise yet. I have a bottle of HIC's Italian Christmas Cookies steeping and when I smelled your recipe my thoughts went to Anise. That's when I decided to smell them together and they seemed to play well together, smell wise.

I'm just trying this after a 2 day step. I must say, it's oddly good, very hard to describe, perhaps exotic. I would encourage anyone who has these flavors to give this a try for a nice change of pace. Once my bottle is gone, I think I'll try adding .5% FA Anise and 1% FA Fresh Cream.

Will do. I'm still trying to figure out this flavor I'm getting. The Spearmint and Coconut turn into something I've tasted before, but I just can't put my finger on it. The flavor is definitely not what you would expect with that much coconut. In fact I can barely taste coconut.

Yea I started with less, but needed to increase it. I was worried that the lime would be overpowering too , but it's snuck in nicely
