The last paragraph of Senator Johnson's letter is my favorite part:

I do not see it as a threat but a promise of action to bring the shady backroom corruption that was involved.

They pretty much have a say over whatever they feel like they have a say over.
Not like it is a sub department of the the department of justice, and various oversight watch dog groups.

The FDA and fda funding with it's track record should be brought out into the light and allow the corrupt shit burn.
