Howdy! Been lurking on this forum for a while. Finally signed up. I had my last cigarette on July 18, the day I bought my E-Vod Mega. That lasted a week, but an I-Stick 30w with a Nautilus Mini, a few weeks later went for the Subox kit. A few weeks ago i got the Sigelei 150w TC to go with my Darkhorse I picked up a few weeks before that haha. This vaping is NOT cheaper than smoking. But i feel a hell of a lot better these days.

Sorry. Its kind of a long winded post here....

ANYWAY!

Has anyone had any luck with the Cyclone? I picked one up 2 days ago, and I constanly am getting juice in my mouth. Not massive amounts, but you can feel it on your lips, and feel it coating your tongue. I think it may be from those fins, juice seems to pool up there.

The top fill sucks. Taking that top cap off....

The juice control does NOT work. To fill your supposed to tip it upside down, turn it to fill mode and it will keep the juice in the top tank (and away from the coil, which is supposed to stop it from leaking). I noticed off or on, the juice flows to that bottom tank. Just as fast when it is set to fill mode as when I have it opened right up.

The RBA sucks. The flavour sucks, probably cause I am getting juice in my mouth lol. The clouds are decent, but this tank just blows.

I am trying to get the store to give me an exchange on this thing. Prices are pretty high here in BC (Fraser Valley if any local guys on here). I paid 70 bucks for the damn thing. Thats a good chunk of change to throw away on something i feel i cant even use.

Has anyone had any luck with these tanks? Any tricks I can try to get this thing going properly if the store wont give me an exchange?

Thanks!

Of course vaping is more expensive than smoking when you pay $70 for a tank... I tend to stay away from tanks that are over complicated. Juice flow control, air flow in the drip tips even top fills leave too much more for things to go wrong. I don't know much about the Cyclone but if you end up getting a new tank, order online. $70 is nearly 3x what they cost online.

I know online is cheaper, I am all about instant gratification lol. Plus if my wife says I can go grab another piece to add to my collection I figure I should do it before she changes her mind! I am just really bummed out about this tank.

Not having a Cyclone, I hear it is good once the quirks are ironed out, such as those you mentioned. You can search here, Ecig Forum, and YouTube under Cyclone tank.

Here in the US, it is Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Tanks and coils cheap at the moment. I see the Uwell Crown for 20 USD plus 10 for coils online from US. The Smok TFV4 or Mini is not too much more. Check www.vaportronics.net out of Texas. Vapecrawler always interesting but does not show all. Though I shop online, I avoid overseas vendors.

I have read some good reviews and bad reviews on it. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one to tinker with.

Honestly the sense hydra is the tank you want. As for leaking - close the air flow before filling and let it sit a few seconds. Sense makes decent tanks and decent coils. You can also use Atlantic coils - a bonus. But I like the 1.8 coil on the hydra fine vaoping at 45 watts - great cloud and flavor. Now the cyclone is fine if you learn to handle it. Not my fav from sense biut still good.

Going to play around with it some more when I am off work for the week. If I can get it to stop coating my lips and tongue with juice i will be happy lol

I have a Sense Cyclone. Never had any problems or leaking with it.
Just make sure that when filling, close the airflow control
and turn juice control to fill then, when ready to vape,
rotate to vape.

I have made a bit of progress with the tank. I have found after 2 fills on a new coil the leaking goes away. I stick with the ss coils. They are lasting a lot longer and seem to taste better. But the flavour with this tank still isnt the greatest. I use it for my cheaper, not the greatest juices.

The subtank is more for flavour and then i drip when i want clouds lol. Kinda have my own routine going now.

I just purchased this tank for 5 bucks. I followed the instructions for filling and it leaked all over the place. So I thought about it a bit. This tank looks a lot like the Aspire Triton. I've been filling it somewhat like the Triton and have not had a problem since !

Close off all airflow.
Close off the juice control.
Grab the tank and unscrew the top making sure you don't change the airflow or juice control.
Fill the tank.
Set the juice control to 1/2 way open.
Screw the top open.
Open the airflow.

No turning upside down, no leaking, no gurguling ! Not exactly like the Triton because the tanks is not exactly like the Triton. It works for me. Five bucks well spent !

this tank has given me nothing but hell so far. i own two, now; the first bought under the pretense that it would be a cool addition to my collection, and the second bought for five dollars because i couldnt afford anything else and id broken my last tank. today i have scoured the internet for helpful hints as to keeping the thing from immediately leaking and turning my desk, hands, mod, and soul gooey, and as i sit here it has been felled for five minutes and no mess.
...heres to hoping.
