My tank is getting some spit back/gurgling even with just the coil on without the tank attached. Im thinking there is too much cotton that absorbs too much juice so all the excess is spitting out the air hole?

Put it back together and crank it up.. Too low of power will always cause spit back because the juice is not vaporising completely in the wick (cotton).. Also a high PG ratio can contribute to popping and spitback..
I can't remember what coil I had in my Herkakes, but it didn't have spitback issues..that said I threw it in the garbage anyway, along with the Atlantis, when I got the Uwell Crown...wish I could help more..good luck
