Wotofo Serpent
Yeah, I know this is not one of the newer tanks but lately I've been on a quest to find the single coil RTA that works for me. Packaging was nice and typical Wotofo. All the standard goodies and spares were there. When I took apart the tank I was missing a grub screw from the deck. Not a big deal but it needs to be mentioned. Tank comes apart in 3 pieces the drip tip, the top fill cap, and the base.
The body of the tank as well as the glass all are one piece and do not come apart. Machining seems real nice with smooth clean threading. The deck is a single coil deck with offset posts. This tank does have bottom dual air flow control. It's a little weird to build on at first but Grimm Green has an awesome build and wick tutorial on this tank. So far 2.5mm coils seem like the best fit. You could get a 3.0mm coil into it but it's tight. Wicking is pretty straight forward. I tend to cut my wicks on a downward 45 degree angle with decks like this. This way the thin end of the wick is at the bottom.
Juice flow control is kind of like the Alleria, it's on the top of the tank. Turn all the way to the left to fully close it. Turn all the way to the right to fully open it. The draw on this tank is anywhere from a restricted direct lung hit to an airy mouth to lung drag. Flavor is absolutely fantastic for a tank of this size. The flavor is very close to smaller single coil tanks.
All in all I really like this tank. I like that it's mostly metal and there is just enough glass so you can see your juice. The drip tip is real comfortable as well. It is tall compared to most of the new single coil tanks coming out today but it looks really nice on most mods and overhang will not be a problem. I purchased this tank at vaporworld.biz for $9. For that price I feel like I stole this tank. In fact at this price you would be hard pressed to find a better one lunger tank. God knows I have spent a lot more on tanks that have given a significantly less satisfying vape.
Pros:
-Flavor
-Build Quality
-Minimal Glass
Cons:
-Tank can not be broken down completely for cleaning
-On the tall side.
Here are the specs from Wotofo's page:
22mm Diameter
4ml Tank Capacity
Dual Function Top Cap
Dual Adjustable Airflow Slots
Two Post Build Deck
Gold Plated Contact
PEEK Insulator
High Quality Stainless Steel and Glass Construction
Minimal and Clean Look
