Hello vaping community. I've been vaping for about 14 months now; which is hard to believe, with all the new products and my own personal evolution as a vapor it seems like at least two years, lol. When I first started learning about devices the first thing I tried to understand was the differences and benefits of fixed batteries like the Ego compared to the VV Vision Spinner, which in my opinion was a great battery at the time, and VW batteries. One of the so called pros of VW that always confused me, and intuitively made no sense, was this concept of setting it(wattage) and forgetting it. Like I could easily swap out tanks and get the same vape experience as long as the wattage was the same. I could barley understand Ohm's law at the time, but was starting to understand that if the resistance of one tank was different then the one I was swapping out, I wasn't going to get the same experience irregardless of the wattage. In fact, after one year of vaping I now go by voltage more than ever. 4.3v seems to be the spot I most like for factory coils and even with my own homemade coils I use on rda/rta's. So the question to you folks is why do people sometimes refer to this as a set it and forget it function. Am I still not understanding Ohm's law, which I admit I'm no scientist, or is this a complete misnomer? I guess ultimately it doesn't really matter much but I still wonder why people would say that. I'm talking about some of the reviewers who post videos and therefore should know. I no longer wonder what the advantages are of VV/VW over Ego batteries but now wonder what the advantages of TC is over VW, but I'll save that for another post. I'm getting ready for bed and will read any and all responses in the morning; so if you do respond thank you and have a good night.
