Sharing how I "remote wick" 6 coils to avoid burnt hits...

Firstly I'm a lazy ass...so I drip from the top for ease....I was worried about the centre coils on this 6 hole beastie drying out and burning....and what a pain it would be if I was away from home if it ever did happen..


no hot spots...



So I use #500 stainless 316L mesh...2 inch worth cut into 1/4 inch strips and wound at a slight angle round a cocktail stick...i do not oxidise it as that blocks up the 1 thou holes...i remove the cocktail stick and roll the mesh tube tighter between thumb and finger ready to insert into the coils...I make sure enough is hanging out either side of the coil so my mesh roll will just kiss the cotton when I fit it....
I use a single piece of cotton tucked under then over then under then over then under again...this last time crossing over and joining the 2 seperate juice wells....



My "so horney rda" on polished incubus full mechanical box mod....
No issues 3 weeks later from this low ohm build and not changed a thing in it and no dry or burnt hits...dripping from the top...it's even the same cotton...and I've used 170ml of my diy juice at 80vg/20pg with 3mg nic...six drops each side onto the cotton from the top and the flavour and clouds are my best so far...."remote wicking" is my future on multi coil builds...

It works for smaller/basic coils but for larger coils it doesnt have the properties needed to keep it afloat, good tut either way!

Cheers ray...i know what you mean..i used this method on a single 0.5 ohm shop bought alien a few months back..but was disappointed with the flavour so went back to full cotton on that..out of curiosity I needed to know if this method worked for 6 simple coils at 0.05 ohms...and I was pleasantly surprised..so decided to share it...and only just sussed what TUT means...tutorial doh... and yup the above single alien build isn't pretty lol

I tried the Mesh/Cotton hybrid wick a few weeks ago for a Cat track Build awhile ago...I could taste the mesh heat (its hard to explain) but I knew that the mesh wasnt keeping up with the build....its a great way of weicking but it does have limitations...fopr those that use single strand/parallel coils its a win though!

Im not sure if I would try it on my So Horney

Hohm Wrecker G2...Its the only Mod Ive dared to fire it on besides the HOG V1...it killed the HOG V1..The Hohm Wrecker has fired down to .03 for me without any problems....Its a workhorse.

Very nice gallery....I've had a brass dos equis for a year now....it was my daily vape til I got the incubus...now got a lucifer on order for its series capabilities...nice to know you have 2 of them in your instagram gallery...you must have the patience of a saint to do any of your builds..they are truly art bud...
