During a panel at Comic-Con today, a new trailer for Sherlock's fourth season was revealed.
The trailer features Sherlock mulling over the return of a familiar foe, plus glimpses of Watson, Molly, Mycroft, Mrs. Hudson, and more, and warns that "everything they know will be tested. Everyone they know is under threat."
The panel featured star Benedict Cumberbatch as well as Amanda Abbington who plays Mary, executive producers Mark Gatiss and Sue Vertue, and co-creator Steven Moffat.
"It's really dark," Abbington said during the panel in reference to season four. "It's the darkest that Steven
and Mark
have written. When we read them, all of us, when we read them we were kind of overwhelmed, I think."
