SIg 150TC-Joules question.

Hi people. Hope you are all OK.

I have got my 2nd Higher powered TC device, after owning 3 previous devices, the Sig 75, the IPV D2, and the XCUBE 2.

Now, say I select 190C for instance, and selected 50J, should it not be the same temperature as being run at 80J, but with a fraction slower ramp up?

As I noticed running at 80J today instead of 50 (I used 50 as I use 50W on my sig, 50j on the D2, and can't choose on the Xcube) the temperature seemed much higher than being run at 50J.

I gathered 50J would be well enough to ramp it up, going by the xcube to phone interface seeing the TC work, it jumps to around 50 before dropping to 10-20 to keep at that level.

So, should temperature increase as you increase joules/Watts? As I thought it only hit that for a fraction of a second, to hit the temp, then dropped in watts/joules to maintain the temp?

It does not seem to drop voltage like my other devices though, at least not on screen, and it is definitely in Joule mode.

If anyone could help it would be really helpful to me, and help my understanding of TC more, as I have owned TC devices for a while, but only in the last week or so really started to use it, and realised it was great.

I have asked this on the UK forum, but have yet to get a reply, so thought I would ask here as it seems like there are more members online at a time.
