Sigelei 70 W TC not powering down

Has anyone had an issue with a Sig 70 TC not powering down properly. Of course, to power down, you press the fire button 5 times with 3 seconds. When I do this, the mod is just trying to fire. You can see the wattage go up and down. It takes 3 or 4 times at 5 presses in 3 seconds before it finally powers down. I know it is not an issue that I am not pressing it too slow

I have only had this mod for 16 days. I notified the seller and they said because I have had it for more than 14 days they will not do anything for me & my only remedy was to contact the manufacturer.

Mine did do this also, just once though. I was too fast on the clicks.

My only problem with it so far is that it sporadically doesn't fire.

Same here.
Mine too.... I put a freshly charged battery in it tonight and tried firing it at 60w...nada. Check battery message. Ran it down to 40w...fires long enough to not even start producing vapor and check battery message again. Temp control mode does the same thing, I'm really disappointed with mine.

What is worse, I have had it for 16 days, contacted the seller, they said sorry, any merchandise deemed defective must be returned within 14 days. So much for customer service and standing behind your product

But you should be able to get it repaired under warranty. Check your box for the warranty card!

Of course, you are right. the unit is still under warranty. It was more a rant that a retailer would just say sorry, there is noting they will do because I notified them 2 days late. I would understand more if their warranty was 30-90 days but 2 weeks or nothing?

It's still under warranty, you just have to go through Asmodus. I haven't had to do it myself, but from what I've heard Asmodus will most likely make it right. But, remember, they are on "holiday" until next week. BTW, this is quite common. Vendors only give a short return option, and then the warranty is up to the mfg. Good luck!!!!! I absolutely LOVE my Sig 75W

I don't know any online retailers that give a warranty that long! This isn't uncommon - many are only 7 days. But I hear your pain!
