sigelei fuchai duo-3 firing issue

The mod is roughly 2 months old and developed an issue where it would constantly fire and would have to take the batteries out to get it to stop. I am using the Moonshot RTA which has a small deck section and found that one of the coils shifted and was making contact with the side wall of the tank. I adjusted the coils so that they were no where near the walls and this seemed to fix the issue. I dont know why the short protection didn't kick in but if anyone else is having this issue trying changing your coil (sub-ohm) or adjusting your coils in your RTA/RDA

Hmmm interesting. I have a new moonshot just sitting here on my desk awaiting a Duo-3 with both battery covers to arrive. I have heard that the switch can stick if kept in a dusty environment like the Tesla Stealth I had did. The Stealth fired and wouldn't stop. Paint began melting off so I threw it like a grenade. I will give it a once over when it arrives and see if it does the same with me.

Mine did it yesterday. Low battery and auto-fire. I think it's an issue with some of them. Google it and there's a few complaints out there. I like the mod but I have a feeling it may not be all that. I only paid $30 shipped so not a huge loss. I'll return it if it happens again.

I'm going to return it and try another first, I really want it to be solid. I have an original Sigelei 213 and it's been bulletproof in daily abuse for a year now. It's beyond me how a company can design such aesthetically pleasing mods with such shoddy and inconsistent hardware/firmware.

Oh believe me, I understand. I've owned at least three of the OG 150s, the 150 TC, the original Fuchai, and a couple more, and they were tough as nails. IMO it's just been within the past year that Sigelei seems to be getting a bit lax in their craftsmanship. The Duo was a disappointment, the Kaos Spectrum wasn't very impressive, and I have a 213 I've considered selling because it's a battery hog. I just think that performance wise, they've slipped a bit.

At 1 week old mine to had issues with the firing button! I had to unscrew the tank to get it to stop supplying power to the coils. It was late at night and pulling the batteries would have done the trick too... but I was worried about my new OBS tank having issues
I contacted the company and will be returning it for a refund. not going to get another
