Warning: Full spoilers for the episode follow.
This week's Silicon Valley was more standalone than usual in that not a lot happened on the Pied Piper front, but the romance-centric storylines were enjoyable, if predictable. Within minutes of each subplot, it was clear how things were going to down: Richard would give into his anal preference for tabs over spaces, Dinesh would be the "dogface" of his pairing with Elisabet, and Jared would be the ladies man we all thought he wasn't.
Still, these setups brought about some very funny moments. Richard holding back a hissy fit, for example, and instead launching into a Nazi/Hitler rant was pretty amusing, as was his inevitable meltdown with Winnie. ("I was trying to go down eight steps at a time!") Dinesh's vidchat debacle, on the other hand, was side-splitting in theory but didn't come with that many big laughs -- even when Gilfoyle was tearing into him about it.
