Silo beast flooding problem, fixed for me

Since I got this tank I have been using the aspire ni200 .15 and kanthal coils .5 and every so often I would encounter the dreaded flooding. Well I decided to try the original coils and I noticed a big difference, the o rings at the bottom of the coils are thicker on the beyond vape coils and The difference in seating is very noticeable, you can actually feel the resistance of the coil seat into the base whereas the aspire coils would just suddenly stop and the 510 pin would be sticking out way further than it should. This is my favorite tank and I was going to retire it, but the vapor and flavor I get are better than the atlantis 2 and the triton without any whistling. I stopped using the tank the minute I bought my V-MODZ sx350j as the tank sits inside the box and i did not want to inadvertently ruin it as i did not trust the silo anymore. So glad I came across this and hope it helps some other fellow vapers. This tank looks amazing inside this mod.

Pictures please.

And what was your fix, as I have encountered the same issue with the Silo Beast and consequentially dropped it out of rotation. Are you adding thicker o-rings to the aspire coils?

I used the thicker o rings that came with the tank not the Aspire coils, they are noticeably thicker so the 510 connection does not protrude

So basically you swap the o-rings from the Beyond Vape coils onto the Aspire Coils

Picture of the mod or the coil, if you want to see the coil check out the beyond vape website and look for the coils, in the picture you can see a noticeable difference in the o ring, I'm working on adjusting my pictures for uploading. I'll post some pictures of the mod this weekend.

Checked out online stock images of the beyond vape coils alongside the Aspire ones and you are totally right, they are noticeably thicker. Your diagnosis of the issue and resolution is spot on.

Glad I stumbled across it, I would have hated to retire the tank

Well yes, I actually had dropped it out of rotation.

So am eternally grateful for your thread as I can now consider using it again.
