Single coil flavor RTA to get

Was thinking about getting the Wotofo Serpent Mini, a lot of great reviews on the flavor it puts out. I already have the original Serpent, ehhh, just OK and the Merlin is my other single coil RTA, just OK as well but neither compete with any of my dual coil RTA's for flavor.

Could be that single coil RTA's are just not for me but wanted to give them one more shot. I did try a friends Crown with the RBA base installed and really liked that so I know it is possible to like a single coil build for me.

I have narrowed it down to the Wotofo Serpent Mini and CTHULHU V3 which comes with 2 decks, single and dual. I know there are a lot of people here that have tried a lot more single coil RTA's then I have though so wanted to ask there advice.

I don't like a real tight draw, not a MTL vaper but the Goblin Mini and Wotofo Sapor RTA are a medium draw and they are OK for me.

I think the Cthulhu (which I WILL be buying) will not give you the flavor you're looking for. That's a huge deck!

Now, the Cthulhu V2... it also comes with both decks.

If you like restricted DL hits and flavor and single coils, though, there's not much better than either the SXK Wine or the Monster V3. Also, of course, consider the Kayfun 5.

I think with the Cthulhu V3 I would not mind sacrificing a little flavor for a more open airflow. I am trying to find a happy medium between both. I am not really looking for a restricted dl hit but would be ok if it is not super airy.

The Cthulhu V2 I have heard way too many bad things about the build quality to even consider it.

I highly recommend the vape geek eagle, if u do decide to get take out the stock coils and put ur own in it and it's awesome. It comes with a dual coil and single coil build deck

You might like the Serpent Mini, then. Goblin Mini is my top choice all day every day, though I do use other tanks, too. Wasn't a big fan of the build deck on the Serpent Mini, but the flavor is really good. Not everyone experiences this, but I have some weeping around the AFC. More annoying than a HUGE deal.

The serpent mini is like the big serpent as far as draw goes. I didn't like either at first but grew to love the mini. The flavor is great. Easy builder, and although some have reported seeping. Mine has remained dry as a bone. Highly recommend.

You won't go too wrong with the Serpent Mini, I like it enough to order another one for the "hoarding" stash. Just ordered a Bachelor Nano at Heavens Gifts, flash sale for 9 bucks, looks like it might be pretty good. Worth a look anyways...

I think I saw somewhere that the goblin mini v3 came out recently. That might be a contender too.

I love my serpent mini, but I finally got around to using my narDA and I swear the thing is pure sorcery. Off topic, but the rumor I heard is that well over a dozen wizards give their lives for each one. I got the clone, because it only requires two wizards and a trout. Its still magic.

I love my Geekvape Avocado for single coil flavor action; the flavor is actually better using the single coil than when I throw in the duals

Lol I was just today contemplating whether I like the Avocado 24 more then the Limitless V1. I think on a small margin I do. I like the fill port on the Avocado better. I like the size more as well. Still like the limitless though. Avocado more.

I have the Limitless Plus, just the version they came out with at first with the drip tip, not the version that is being sent out now with the flat top and no drip tip. Never had the original limitless so can't compare.

Yeah, I must be drunk everytime I try and coil the Avocado, 3 times and only so so results. The only other tank I am hit or miss on is the Alleria, my first wick great, 2nd wick not so great, I am pretty good with getting it on the first shot but the Avocado 24 has been a ferocious foe so far.

I think I am going to take my Avocado 24 apart and see if there is something not making good contact, it just isn't firing as well as it should. I have even put the same build that works on all my other tanks but something is off, my luck I got a defect.

Another vote for Serpent mini. Same draw as Serpent but easier to put the coil in. It is hard to match dual coil RTA with one coil but you can get very close. Take your favorite built as base and Use steam-engine to build your single coil, pay attention to heat index.

You probably bought something buy now, but here is my 2 cents on flavor tanks. I love my lemo 2 which has great air flow with a single coil deck. I like larger coil like 3mm with 24 gauge wire. More wick seems to = more flavor. Good luck

I am planning on picking up the Serpent mini, just waiting for the right deal to come along.

I did order a Cthulhu V3, the 2 decks and look of the tank won me over. The size of the tank probably won't give me the flavor I was looking for but I like clouds too

FYI you can put single coil in any velocity type deck, or any deck that doesn't have a center post( post less deck, or weird decks like Moonshot).

Yeah, some are easier than others though and I was just wanting to try something different than the usual dual coil tanks I have.

I did wind up ordering a Serpent mini, should have it here tomorrow.

The Cthulhu V3 came in today and wow, I am impressed with the flavor on this tank considering how big it is. I haven't tried the single coil deck yet as I got a Herakles Mini RTA at the same time and wanted to do the same build on both to compare. The flavor on the Cthulhu so far is a little better than the mini rta which is surprising considering the smaller size. There both really flavorful tanks but the Cthulhu definitely has an edge in both flavor and density of the vapor. I have them both on the same mod with the same settings as to keep it fair and vaping the same juice.

Once the Serpent mini gets here I want to try the same build on it as the Cthulhu V3 with the single coil deck. I would guess the Serpent mini would come out on top for flavor but then again I thought the Herakles Mini would win as well, smaller tank more flavor is what most people including myself think.
