Single coil question

What’s up everyone, kind of a silly question

I purchased a dead rabbit rda and I plan to run it single coil until I get comfortable.

Before I install my coil I wanted to be sure what I’m doing here. Will I be installing the coil on the same side as if I would be running dual or would I utilize the ground from the opposite side?

i would go with #2. you will have more room for a bigger coil, it will be centered more for better airflow, and your wicks will have a bit easier time fitting in
