You won't find that story in a widely distributed newspaper or other national media, it makes way too much sense. Like the author so eloquently stated, jobs and money are at stake.

On one side are those focused on harm reduction, who see e-cigs as a substantially safer alternative to cigarettes for people who are
already smokers. On the other are those who see fundamental lifestyle change as the goal for smokers and e-cigs as an obstacle to that.

Western society has come to accept numerous "alternate lifestyles" to the point of forcing private businesses to "accommodate" them, but somehow it's still acceptable to insist that smokers and vapers need to change theirs?

THE FUTURE
E-cigarettes aren't the answer. While they've helped a significant segment of smokers not reached by government endorsed methods, the fact that people still smoke cigarettes is evidence [....]

No one thing will ever be "the answer" for everyone. In fact, some smokers aren't looking for an answer and will happily continue to smoke for the rest of their lives, and it is entirely within their basic human right to pursue their happiness to do so.
