Small temp control big power???

I know nothing like this exists but im going to ask hoping someone knows of something new coming out that i dont know about. I'm a power vapor. my snow wolf only drips at 200w , my sigelli 150 i run at 100 joules 572'f with tfv4 quad coil. I am happy with it! I spent $1,000's on tanks and mods to find the perfect vape out of a tank. Problem i have is size. I am in construction and having a giant setup in my pocket or clipped on my side all day just doesnt work. My friend recently purchased the IPV D2 with the tfv4 mini and its the perfect size! but its just not enough 50 joules seems very unfulfilling to me. and switching to watts i can get a big enough hit at 75w but it's a completely different flavor from watts to joules. So anything out there(or coming out) as small as the D2 that has a bit more power on temp control?

Maybe use a small set up and increase the nicotine...

Anything that size form factor, pushing that many watts, will have a severely decreased battery life I am sure.

That's funny Jim, I was thinking the same thing. Basically the smallest dual 18650, 200 watt, TC mod I have is the Asolo. If you're looking for that type of power in a small form, it comes down to either the Asolo or a DNA200 mod. I prefer the DNA200 myself :)

Cheers,
Steve

Power will be limited with the smaller size due to the single 18650 or internal LiPo (at least for now). I have the D2 and I don't use it for dripping because of the limits and battery consumption at higher power. I only use it with my subtank mini and ~0.5ohm builds on the RBA deck. Running it at 25-30 watts I can easily get an 8 hour work day out of one battery. The only issue I run into is having to top off the tank a few times.

I would love to hear some follow up on the Asolo. We were all around for the circus pre-release. I am curious to here an owners impressions after a time of using it. But, I will read in the Asolo thread , I won't hijack this one

@StanM It's a pretty nice mod overall, but not perfect. My main problems are:
1. It can only fire down to .1 in TC. I mainly use Billow V2's in TC with Ni200 (dual coils). It's Damn near impossible to stuff enough Ni200 in there to get at or above .1
2. The way it was explained to me, even in regular TC, you still need to let the mod learn in power mode first before switching to TC.
3. No USB for updates (#1 could easily be fixed with an update)
4. Lastly, the bottom edge around mine is on the sharp side making it a tad uncomfortable for me. Very well could just be the orientation of it in my hand.

For the positives:
1. Very small for a dual 18650 mod
2. Taste control or dry hit prevention actually works pretty good on Kanthal (It's not perfect, but then what is).

Overall not a bad mod at all. It just doesn't feel as good in my hand as some of my other mods (personal preference and all). Hope some of that helps.

Cheers,
Steve

I love mine, and have used it at home almost exclusively since early September. It's the size, I think, that works for me with the dual batteries - everything else I tried was just too big. Battery swaps are fast and easy.

It does have its quirks (occasionally just turns itself off), and really I mainly use the Crown SS coils in power mode. Taste control does seem to work very well to prevent dry hits near the end of a tank (if you're not paying attention). For the price it's working well for me!

Sorry for the absence. Been working crazy hours. I currently am using the sigelli 150tc for my smok tfv4 at work . Battery life is a daily struggle. i go threw about 3 sets of batteries on a normal workday, but ive just accepted it as part of my routine now. The asolo ive never heard of before. I will definitely see if i can find someone around here who sells one. DNA 200 box is on my to do list but i know its not going to be anything i can take to work with me because of the battery life. I just finished playing with my friends d2 with the smok tfv4 mini . maxed out on watts the battery lasted me about a hour , but i was chain smoking it. In wattage mode it does the trick and gives me a big enough hit to get by. And the size of it is perfect. just still wanting more. thanks everyone for the suggestions.
