Ok it came with Clapton coils but are they safe to use in temp mode? I haven't tried them in tc kinda weary they are nichrome wrapped in kanthal

best guess would be probably not, however, you can go here and punch in the wire sizes and materials and see if your mod can handle the suggested TCR.. I have done claptons with 316L core and kanthal wrapper; and with a bit of tweaking got it to work decent on TC

LOL...........you'll love the SS better anyway....cleaner taste, easier to coil and work with. Kanthal is so yesterday.....SS is even great when used in wattage mode too, all around better wire....
