Smok Cloud Beast Rebuildable

So I bought the cloud beast about 3 weeks ago and have been loving it. I've used up the non-rebuildable coils that it came with and decided to try the rebuildable one this morning. Followed some you tubers a dive for building a simple coil system. Put 2 things of cotton inside the coils and folded the ends down into the tank part. Been vaping it for about 4 hours now and it seems much different. More resistance than the non-rebuildable coils I used before and lots of popping. Is the rebuildable coil that this came with just not worth a damn? Did I do something wrong when building it? Just doesn't seem to be as good as before.

it's working fine. popping happens when their is juice on the coil and it heats up (think hot cooking oil in a frying pan) might need a little more cotton but it's fine to use if it isn't bothering you. Unless you build some hefty coils it isn't going to compare to the factor ones

Popping is normal especially with brand new coils.

Seems likes the coils might be heating up too much or I don't have enough cotton. Already tasting like shit and after I take a hit it continues to vurp out vape for like 30 seconds. Is this normal with the rebuildables?

Sounds like to little cotton and too high of wattage combined. If you are using a 3mm ID clapton coil I would use a cotton strip that is at least 13-14mm wide.

What ohm did the build come out to and what wattage are you trying to vape it at ?

Sorry I'm a bit of a newbie, I'm hitting at 75 watts currently up from 70 with the non-rebuildable coils. Felt like this needed more wattage to get a good hit. I did not measure the cotton but it was a pretty decent size. I rolled up one end of it to fit it through coil and could barely get it through so I believe that's about as much cotton as I can get in there.

Probably didn't pulse the coils and remove the hotspots. That'll definitely give you the symptoms you've described. Check out some youtube vids and give it another go.

Hey guys sorry I'm gonna go slightly off topic, I've also recently bought a cloud beast my question is should I be blasting through the amount of juice I now get through, 30ml used to last over a week, on my crown uwell, but now 2-3 days and I'm done and at 20 quid a bottle it's getting expensive, has anyone else had this issue?

I also noticed that when I made the switch for the non-rebuildable coils to the rebuildable that the beast came with that I've blown through a lot more juice. Guess the coils on the non-rebuildable just are quite as fuel efficient. Luckily I have a buddy that makes juice so I get 30ml for like $2 dollars, maybe try making your own juice it doesn't seem that difficult after watching my buddy mix some up.

Yup, most sub ohm tanks with dual coils will go through juice a lot quicker. DIY mixing is actually very easy. Finding good recipes out of all that are available can be the tricky part.

Perfectly normal. It takes more juice to make more clouds. Time to find some budget juice, or DIY. :cloud::cloud::cloud:

The Cloud Beast is a pig plain and simple. V10, V8, V4 or RBA, still a juice guzzler.

I can go thru 20ml easy with a CB cI M pared to 10ml tops with a Crown or Suoer Tank.

I DIY. If I didn't, I wouldn't use the CB or BBB.
