Smok Helmet Mini tank thoughts and questions

Hello all,
I am new to vaping and picked up a Smok O sub mini starter kit. This kit comes with their Helmet Mini tank. I am wondering if anybody out there has some thoughts on this tank. Since I am new to vaping, I want to know if this is "good" or if I could vastly improve upon it. Does anyone know how long a coil should last in this thing? I was told by the sales person that I should be able to run about 20 mL through it. I have gone beyond that and it doesn't seem to be burning up at all.

Here are my thoughts
- Design looks great
- The top fill works really well. It has a large opening, and makes for easy filling.
- Flavor seems to be good, but I have only tried a small E-go pen before it.
- I only vape 2-4 mL a day at 40Watts, so I won't be burning through many coils

Here are my concerns
- Is the size of the tank (2mL) too small to run with a higher wattage mod?
- Do you think this tank would pair well with a Wismec Reauleux RX 2/3? I would like to get this mod, and eventually build by own RTA or move up to a different tank. I just don't want to drop all of the cash for the mod plus a new tank until I know what I am hoping to get out of the next tank.

Anybody have thoughts about the Smok Osub Mini w/ helmet overall?

the RX should be fine under 100 watts. not a big fan of it though much better mods around for that price range

Depends. I'll use cars cause lol why not

Ferrari - top of the line mods (FSK boards and DNA boards)

VT133 - DNA 200 board can be found around 80-90 bucks if you look hard enough for sales.
Pros - DNA 200 board, dual 18650 configuration, small and nice form factor, can TC almost any wire but nichrome and kenthal and mixes
Cons - steep learning curve for some, need a PC to program the device

Therion 133
Same as the VT133 but usually around 120 bucks. Looks nicer to some. really classy looking mod

Hohmwrecker G2 - FSK Board (can be brought for around 65 bucks on ecig.com)
Pros - hits hard, practically bullet proof build quality, temp control any wire including kenthal and nicrhome, easy to configure on the device. No PC needed except to upgrade firmware. Great customer support from hohmtech (US company located in california)
Cons - boxy design

Lexus - high quality mods but not as expensive

IPV5 - (yihi board. 3rd best behind the DNA and FSK boards) can be found around 40-50 bucks
Pros - works well, quality mod, TC Ni, TI, and SS wire
Cons - Kinda tall

Hohmslice - FSK board can be had around 50-60 bucks
Just like the G2 but smaller and runs on a single 26650 battery instead of dual 18650 batteries. Build quality isn't as good as the G2 but just as good as most other mods.

Honda - cheaper mods but still good quality and nice. not as good as the top of the line or high quality but still good)

Xcube ultra - 220 watts from a dual battery mod can be found for around 50 bucks
Pros - nice looks, LED light and fire bar, Bluetooth capable to confirgure with a phone app. TC Ni, Ti, and SS wire, great menu system
Cons - a little bulky

Smok alien - 220 watts from a dual battery mod can be found for around 50 bucks
Same as the xcube ultra but smaller and less bulky. Doesn't have bluetooth or the LED

That VT133 sure is purdy. I was looking at an Xcube ultra at one time. I don't really know the benefits of bumping up from 40W yet. Since I am new to vaping and all. My only thought is that I don't think my 40W mod is good enough for running an rta on it? It does do temp control and isn't terrible on battery life. I like the form factor of it.

If you get into sub ohm vaping, you'll need more then 40 watts. 40 watts is good for MTL vaping and running resistances over 1 ohm, but when you start building lower you'll need more watts. Nobody really needs 200+ watts TBH but on some builds I do need around 100-115. and the TFV8 tank needs around 130-140 watts. Some sub ohm tanks like the clieto can be ran around 50-70 watts. All depends on your builds. Mods I listed give you more flexibility to do what you want. they can still do only 40 watts if you want, and will give better battery life.

You could run an RTA on it, but it would have to be a single coil. 1ohm or higher build and a tank with restricted airflow.

I'm running mine with the dual Clapton.4ohm coil.....kind of assumed I could easily run an rta off it....just not go over 40w
